01 - Rinse fresh dandelion petals and leaves thoroughly under cold running water to remove dirt and debris.
02 - Bring filtered water to a rolling boil in a small saucepan or kettle.
03 - Place cleaned dandelion petals and leaves in a teapot or heatproof container.
04 - Pour boiling water over dandelions. Cover and steep for 8–10 minutes to extract flavors.
05 - Strain tea into cups, removing solids. Add honey or lemon if desired. Serve hot.
